SDA Optimizes Communication Strategies Through Social Media

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency continues to optimize its communication strategy to inform and educate the public.

All published materials are provided in attractive and informative manner

Jakarta SDA Agency's Center for Data and Information Administration Sub-division Head, Gde Made Panji Diarsa said, communication strategy as a means of information and education to the public is carried out in form of publishing or uploading infographics, photos, or videos through social media.

"Currently, SDA Agency has social media, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. SDA Agency's social media also receives people's complaints, questions or reports, especially at Twitter and Instagram," he mentioned, Wednesday (4/7).

His side has social media teams consisting of Experts and Other Individual Service Providers (PJLP) who work making contents and publish it on social media.

"Not only documenting and editing videos, photos, and infographics, but they also answer incoming message on SDA's social media, monitor news related to SDA Agency, and make news clipping," he explained.

Jakarta SDA's social media team, he added, also attended several internal trainings with Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Statistic Agency (Diskominfotik) and external trainings. As well as holding training for personnel on the field regarding techniques to take good photos thus its contents are worthy of publication.

"Social media team is expected to make social media management and communication strategy in Jakarta SDA Agency become clearer and more focused, with better conceptualization. All published materials are provided in attractive and informative manner," he stated.
